Peterborough Public Library - 345 Aylmer St. N
Peterborough > Peterborough Public Library | Silver Bean Café | Rubidge Retirement Residence | Sadlier House
Toronto > Mây Café | Steelworkers Hall
Peterborough Public Library (scroll down for photos and booth diagram) is just south of Aylmer and Simcoe on the west side of Aylmer St in Peterborough. There is a side door to the building that has a ramp, and there is an elevator that takes you to the floor of the show. If you park in front of the library to unload, please move your vehicle when you're done so that another vendor may unload there. We recommend that you bring a dolly or other cart to transport your goods into the show space.
Tables are 30" deep and 5' and 6' wide. You are provided with 2 chairs. Your space is your table, above your table, beneath your table and behind your table. It is not beside your table. it is not in front of your table. People need to be able to exit and enter their booths without restriction. Shoppers also need to be able to browse freely.
Setup time: 9:30 - 10:30. You must arrive by 9:45 at the latest. Arrivals after this time will not be admitted and will not be refunded. You must be completely set up by 11 am at the latest.
Show time: 10:30 - 3:30
Please leave your donation at the greeters' table before the show starts. Thank you.
Packup time: 3:30 - 4:20
The kitchen is for storage, coffee-making, and warming up food. Sorry, no stove use allowed. There is no coffee service, so please bring your own coffee. There are a microwave and kettle in the kitchen, as well as a fridge. You're welcome to bring your own coffee maker (plug-in) or kettle (plug-in). You can access the kitchen from the hallway (or from your booth if you're near the interior kitchen door). It is across from the women's washroom. Alternatively, you may keep a thermos full of coffee at your table.
You can call the City about parking: 705-742-7777 ext. 2802.
From the city's site: "Metered parking is provided on streets throughout the downtown area. On-street parking is intended for quick stops, usually less than an hour in length. The maximum stay at on-street metered spaces is two hours. The rate for on-street parking is $1 per hour.
Parking for More than 2 Hours and up to a Full Day
Some parking lots and both parking garages can be used for a quick stop or for up to a full day. The rates are $1/hour or $7 maximum for all day. The first hour is free in the parking garages. The parking lots that permit all day parking are: Louis Lot, Brock Lot, Chambers Lot, Reid Lot and the Del Crary Lot. Note that private parking is also available under Peterborough Square. The access is off Charlotte Street, near where Charlotte Street intersects with Simcoe Street."
Parking at Peterborough Square (underground) is free for the first hour if you can get a store owner to validate your ticket, then 50 cents per hour after that. I believe it's $1 if the ticket is not valid, but please call them to confirm: (705) 742-0493
