A vendor assistant relieves vendors from their booths so that they can take a break or tour the market to network with other vendors or shop.

Vendor assistants either inform shoppers that the artisan will soon return, or, accept payments for goods and package goods for customers. They are also available to obtain more ballot cards or stickers for vendors when asked. Vendors are not authorized to send vendor assistants away from the market unless to obtain a beverage or snack on the premises. 

Upon arrival, a vendor assistant will introduce her/himself to each vendor.
Volunteers are entitled to 50% off of a booth for a single date.
